And today, I have something awesome to try.  It’s called Magnum Ice Cream.

As part of the Foodbuzz Tastemaker Program, I received a coupon for a free Magnum Ice Cream Product.  Groovy, right?

I couldn’t find it for a while, I even had my mother looking for it.  We’re big Dr. Evel fans, and I told her to look for the “Boiling-hot MAGNUM Ice Cream.”

She’s pretty sure I was switched at birth, and there’s a completely normal woman somewhere in Wisconsin.

I finally found it. Believe me, when it finally gets to my part of the country, it has to be everywhere.

So, I’m sure you’ve seen it.  Yeah, it’s in the High-Dollar Ice Cream section.

Completely drool-worthy.

And tons of flavors…completely drool-worthy.  Yep, said that twice.

I was really torn – I wanted that White Chocolate one at the bottom of the photo…

But I decided…since this is for testing purposes…I should just go for the classic.

Yeah, that almond one looks good, too..

Nope, let’s stick with the classic.

3 ice cream bars for $3.28.  Whoo…

Pretty gold packaging…

But pretty packaging doesn’t make an ice cream bar awesome.

Oooo…it’s so pretty – the chocolate is nice and dark!

Look how thick the chocolate coating – nice…

Taste is amazing.  I wouldn’t say I fell over, writhing in ecstasy – but it’s really yummy.

My son, ever the ice cream lover, pointed out something I hadn’t seen…

A  monogram in the chocolate…Nice, right?

Well, I would say that the classic flavor Magnum Ice Cream bar is good.

Not great.

Not eyes-rolling-into-the-back-of-my-head great.

But good.

Would I buy it again?  Well, I’ll say I’m definitely curious about the other flavors, but I wouldn’t spend $3.28 for another box of the classic.  I

But guess what.

I’m totally ADD sometimes, and I forgot to take the coupon to the store with me.

So I still have a coupon for a free box of Magnum Ice Cream.

I could go back to get more.

But guess what again.

I’m not going to do that.
