You ever feel like you’re accomplishing a lot, but never enough?  I feel like I’ve been about 2 paces behind in my schedule for three weeks.

It’s Halloween.  And last week was a killer.

First, we did these…Mini cupcakes for our town’s Costume Contest.  They didn’t come out exactly like I wanted, but they were cute.

Then we did these…

I took this picture while running down the hallway to get to Joey’s classroom.  I’ll never make it as a photographer.

After that, we did some  sloppy  ghost cake pops.

Cake pops are hard for me.  I never get the consistency of the melting wafers right, or the cake mixture has too much frosting, or breaks…I don’t care what Bakerella says…Cake pops are HARD!

Apparently there are lots of birthdays around Halloween.

Including, super-awesome Libby…I did a “Gone with the Wind” cake for Libby’s birthday last year, then a “Flight of the Conchords” cake for her graduation.  I told you:  she’s awesome.

Libby’s mom also wanted some ghost cookies…

Also having a birthday:  1 year old who loves pumpkin bars…

Pumpkin cake with cream cheese frosting.  So sweet.

And finally, another 1 year old with a pumpkin cake…

This cake aged me about 10 years.  It was so simple to put together, I was convinced I had done something wrong and it would implode before the birthday party.

Thankfully, a joyful post from her mother on Facebook this morning relieved my worries and I might actually be able to sleep tonight.

Okay, all this is over, I can relax, right?

Oh, wait…there’s Joey’s birthday this week.  Then my birthday.  Then Thanksgiving.  Then my husband’s birthday.  Then Christmas.

Holy crap.
