I read a lot of food blogs.

Duh, I know.  We all do.

I also read cookbooks.

And borrow recipe boxes.

And watch cooking shows.  All of them.

I’ve already addressed my severe addiction to printing recipes…Now I have photographic evidence.

Here we have my large binder…recipes filed by category.Here we have more recipes…filed under “not filed”.There’s another pile this size on my desk next to the printer.  They’re filed under “even MORE not filed.”

Someday I’ll get a grip.  Or I’ll hire an assistant to clean up and file after me.

But for now, I want to talk about the number of chocolate chip cookie recipes that I have printed.

I have chocolate chip cookie recipes that are made with instant pudding.

I have chocolate chip cookie recipes that require overnight (or longer) time in the fridge.

I have chocolate chip cookie recipes that are made with lard…butter…margarine…shortening.  Or some combination therein.

I have chocolate chip cookie recipes that are made with oats…corn starch…pecans…walnuts…raisins…dark/milk/white chocolate chips/chunks.

I could go on…But I think it’s enough if I say, “I have a lot of freakin’ chocolate chip cookie recipes.”

And I’m going to tell you the best one I’ve found.
